Alize Johnson posted two double-doubles in as many games this week to lead the Bears to a road win and near-upset of visiting Valparaiso. He notched 18 points and a career-high and game-high 13 rebounds in Wednesday's win at SEMO, converting 7-of-10 field goals in a wire-to-wire road victory. He followed that effort with a career-high 21 points and game-high 11 rebounds against Valpo, dropping in 9-of-16 field goals with a team-best 3 assists. For the week, he averaged 19.5 points and 12.0 rebounds, while making 16-of-26 (.615) shots. He has now amassed three double-doubles in a four-game span and has four on the season. The last MSU rookie to record four double-doubles in a season was then-freshman Kyle Weems in 2008-09.
