This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State football's Deuce Bailey. Bailey's first starting appearance saw him lead the Bears on a 10-play, game-winning scoring drive late in the fourth quarter in last Wednesday's 22-20 win at Middle Tennessee. He finished the night 16-of-31 passing for 278 yards, no interceptions and a TD along with a five-yard rushing touchdown (the first of his career), and he became just the third Missouri State freshman quarterback in the past 31 years (and first since 2016) to lead the Bears to victory in his debut start.
