This week's Murney Student-Athlete of the Week is Missouri State track and field's Reagan Reedy. She cemented herself in Missouri Valley Conference history with a win in javelin on the first day of the MVC Outdoor Track and Field Championship on Saturday. On her first throw, Reedy made an attempt of 45.22 meters or approximately 148.4 feet. That was all the Rolla, Mo. native needed to secure gold for herself and 10 points for the Bears. Reedy is the first Bear to win an event at the outdoor championship since Rochelle Etienne won gold in javelin at the 2022 meet.
