Appeared in all nine meets…Placed third in the 200-yard medley relay (1:39.51), fourth in the 400-yard medley relay (3:39.84), fourth in the 100-yard backstroke (55.32), fourth in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:31.81), 16th in the 50-yard freestyle (23.48) and 25th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:07.10) at the MVC Championships (Feb. 26-March 1)...Placed first in the 400-yard medley relay (3:40.51), second in the 200-yard medley relay (1:40.47), third in the 50-yard backstroke (25.24), third in 100-yard backstroke (54.93), fifth in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:32.34), eighth in 200-yard backstroke (2:03.60) and 12th in the 50-yard freestyle (23.53) at the House of Champions Invitational (Nov. 21-23)...Had the top five team times in the 50 free, 100 and 200 backstrokes…Won seven individual events…Named All-MVC Honorable Mention...Named to MVC Scholar-Athlete Team...Named to College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

Swam in all 10 meets…Placed first in the 200-yard medley relay (1:39.40), fourth in the 100-yard backstroke (55.38), 10th in the 200-yard backstroke (2:01.91) and 14th in the 50-yard freestyle (23.49) at the MVC Championships (Feb. 21-24)...Placed third in 200-yard medley relay (1:40.69), fourth in 400-yard medley relay (3:40.62), fifth in 200-yard freestyle relay (1:33.00), eighth in 100-yard backstroke (54.89), ninth in 50-yard freestyle (23.56), 13th in 200-yard backstroke (2:00.64, team season best) and 13th in 400-yard freestyle relay (3:27.29) at the Purdue Invitational (Nov. 16-18)...Won individual event against Arkansas in the 100-yard backstroke (54.48, team season best) and against Missouri in the 100-yard backstroke (54.73) and the 50-yard backstroke (25.62)...Recorded 12 top-five individual finishes…Named MVC Freshman of the Week on Nov. 8 and Nov. 22…Named All-MVC First Team.

Background
On her club team, Friebe set the Missouri Valley Swimming Open record in the 50-backstroke, was the runner-up in the Speedo Spring sectionals for the same event and placed fourth at the Futures Championships in the 100-yard backstroke...Earned a spot on the USA Swimming Scholastic All-American Team as a sophomore, junior and senior...Also was a Winter and Summer Junior Nationals qualifier during her sophomore, junior and senior club seasons, and a Winter Junior Nationals finalist in the 100-yard backstroke her senior year.
