Background
Howard was the No. 1 ranked recruit in the state of Kansas, according to Swimcloud…She made First Team All-Metro and First Team All-State each of her first four years in high school…After taking silver medals at the Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 5-1A Championships in both the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke her freshman year, Howard took gold in both events her sophomore and junior years…She was named All-Metro Swimmer of the Year in each of the gold-medal years…She was a Junior National Qualifier representing Wichita Swim Club…At the 2025 Kansas State High School Activities Association Class 5-1A Championships placed 1st in 200 individual medley and second in 100 freestyle.
