2018-19 Season (Senior)
Named to All-MAC second team…Landed a spot on the podium at the MAC Championships in the 200 backstroke (5th) and 400 IM (6th)…His time of 1:49.14 in the 200 backstroke is the second-best by a MSU swimmer this season…Earned sixth in the 400 IM at the Iowa Hawkeye Invitational (3:57.83), the best event time this season at MSU…Two first-place finishes against South Dakota and Drury in the 100 (51.88) and 200 backstroke (1:52.92), respectively.
2017-18 Season (Junior)
Earned a fourth-place finish in the 400 IM (PR, 3:53.06), touched the wall 11
th in the 200 back (PR, 1:48.34) and 12
th in the 1650 free (PR, 15:57.45) at the MAC Championships … Earned two, top-eight finishes at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown (Sept. 29) and touched the wall fourth in the 1000 free and 200 back in the Bears’ home meet against Southern Illinois on Oct. 7 … Took fifth in the 100 back and sixth in the 1000 free (PR, 9:44.00) against Drury (Jan. 18) … Touched the wall sixth in the 200 back and 200 IM against Missouri (Jan. 20). Earned two top-10 finishes at the Shamrock Invitational (Jan. 26-27) … Set career bests (5) in the 1000 free, 1650 free, 200 back, 200 IM and 400 IM.
2016-17 Season (Sophomore)
Earned top-10 finishes in the 200 IM and 100 back at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown (10/7) …
Claimed gold against North Dakota in the men’s 200 back (1:53.52) and finished second in the 100 back (52.32) on Oct. 21 … Tied his career best and picked up fourth place in the 200 back at the IUPUI House of Champions Invitational, finishing the race in 1:49.57 … Finished third overall in the 400 IM and second in 500 freestyle consolation finals at the HOC Invitational … Earned a golden finish in the 1000 free at Evansville on Dec. 2, touching the wall in 9:55.87 … Garnered top-five finishes in the 100 and 200 back at Southern Illinois (12/3) … Placed in the top 10 in the 100 and 200 back while finishing third in the 400 IM at Missouri (1/21).
2015-16 Season (Freshman)
Participated in the 2016 MAC Championships and earned a silver medal as part of Missouri State’s 200 medley relay … Led off relay that finished runner-up at meet with a time of 1:27.89 … Earned individual podium appearance by taking seventh in the 400 IM with a personal-best time of 3:55.04 in the A-final … Had top finish for the Bears in the 200 back (1:49.57) by taking 13th and also finished 16th in the 500 free (4:33.31) … Won events in duals versus Evansville (Oct. 9) and Truman State (Jan. 16) … Made career-opening appearance with ninth-place finishes in the 200 IM and 100 back at the Show-Me Showdown … Had multiple top-five showings in races against Drury (Oct. 16) and the Kansas Double Dual … Also finished in seventh in two events at the Shamrock Invitational … Completed personal-best time in the 500 free (4:32.69) at the Purdue Invitational which was one of three events he scored points in … Finished season with top-five times in four events for MSU, including the third fastest mark in the 100 back.
