Top finish in the MAC Championships 200 breaststroke consolation finals, posting a time of 2:03.44 (Career-best)…Part of third-place team finish in 200 medley relay (1:38.62) at Evansville…Tied his personal best in the 50 freestyle at Evansville (23.12).
2017-18 Season (Freshman)
Finished 14th in the 100 breast in his collegiate debut at the Missouri Show-Me Showdown (Sept. 29) … Finished eighth in the 100 free in the Bears’ home meet against Southern Illinois (Oct. 7) … Touched the wall sixth in the 200 free against South Dakota on Oct. 20-21 … Finished sixth in the 200 breast in the Bears’ Oct. 27 home meet against Drury … Took 11th in the 100 breast against Evansville (Dec. 1) and seventh in the 100 free at Drury (Jan. 18).
Background
A four-year letterwinner at Bartlesville High School, he holds the team school, conference and state record in the 100 breast … Named the Oklahoma State Champion in the 100 breast and led his team to a third-place finish at the state meet … As a junior, helped his team to a second-place finish at the state meet … Was awarded the Splash Club Award as a junior and a senior and received the Iran Ram Award as a sophomore … Qualified for Summer Junior Nationals in 2017 … Member of the Phillips 66 Splash Club.
