Biography

At Missouri State: Vieth will battle for playing time at midfield or forward this season. Background: Vieth was a four-year performer for head coach Bill Vieth at Evansville Memorial. He helped the Tigers to a 65-game unbeaten streak from 2007-2009, including two state championships. Vieth recorded 26 assists during his senior season en route to all-city, all-conference and all-state first team honors. During his junior campaign, he also earned all-city, all-conference and all-state first team while leading the 23-0-2 squad to the state title and a No. 2 national ranking. His sophomore season also yielded a 23-0-2 record, a state title and a No. 1 national ranking, while his freshman team went 19-2-2 to reach the state final four. Evansville Memorial was a combined 84-5-6 during the four seasons Vieth played. He also played for club team FC Evansville which won the Indiana State Cup in 2009. Personal: Tyler W. Vieth is the son of Bill and Sarah Vieth. He was born February 25, 1992, in Evansville, Ind. He plans to be an accounting major at MSU. Vieth[apos]s father and grandfather played soccer at Saint Louis University from 1982-1985 and 1961-1963, respectively.
