2013: Played the key role of backup goalkeeper for Trevor Spangenberg...Took valuable reps in practice throughout the season.
2012: Started all 17 matches in goal for the Bears this season...Registered six shutouts and 54 saves...Finished the season ranked 21st in the nation in goals against average (0.78); His 0.78 moved him into fourth all-time on the single-season leader[apos]s list...Had a goals against average of 0.78...Was also in the top 50 nationally (48th) at the end of the season in saves percentage (0.794)...Tied the school record for fewest goals allowed in a single season (14)...Earned two separate Valley weekly awards throughout the season; Was named MVC Scholar-Athlete of the Week on Oct. 10; Earned MVC Defensive Player of the Week honors on Sept. 12 following the Dayton Marriott Classic...Was a first-team selection at goalkeeper for CollegeSportsMadness.com ...Named to the 2012 MVC Scholar-Athlete first team.
2011: Was the backup keeper for Trevor Spangenberg...Appeared in two matches during his redshirt-freshman season...Inserted into the game during Missouri State[apos]s blowout wins over Oral Roberts (Sept. 27) and UMKC (Oct. 18); Preserved the victories in both wins and didn[apos]t allow a goal in 22 minutes of action.
2010: Redshirted his first season on campus.
Background: Was a four-year starter in goal for Fort Zumwalt South (Mo.) High School...During his senior season, he broke the school record for career shutouts (39)...Earned Gateway Athletic Conference South Player of the Year honors...Was named Missouri Class 3 Goalkeeper of the Year in 2009 and was named Sam Copple Goalkeeper of the Year by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch...Continued to rack up the honors as a senior, as made the first-team all-state, all-metro and all conference teams...His junior year, he was named to the all-conference second while leading his team to the conference title and a top-10 ranking among large schools in the St. Louis area...Led FZS to the district championship during his sophomore season and was named all-conference honorable mention...Off the field, he was named to the academic all-conference squad each of the past three years...Also started for the basketball team all four years.
