At Missouri State: Hewitt looks to contribute to the Bears[apos] offense in his first year at MSU. Background: Hewitt was a four-year starter at midfield while at St. Louis University High. He scored 12 goals and added 10 assists during a 21-6 senior campaign in which he was named team captain. He earned all-state honors while leading his team to a runner-up finish at the Missouri State Finals. He was also selected to play in the MAC All-Star Game. During his junior season, his team went 18-3 overall and 4-0 in Metro Catholic Conference to earn the MCC title. He scored seven goals and registered six assists as his team was ranked fourth nationally at one point in the season. His high school squad won the conference title in his sophomore season and was runner-up during his freshman year. Hewitt played for the Lou Fusz SC, St. Louis SC and Scott Gallagher club teams. Personal: Dominic C. Hewitt is the son of Jeffers and Susan Hewitt. He was born November 5, 1991, in Kansas City, Mo. He intends to major in finance at Missouri State.
