Meghan Halstead followed closely behind with a personal record of 1:01.33 and a fifth-place finish for four points.
Â

Â
The Bears also finished fifth in the 4x100-meter relay. The team of
Brianna Howard,
Olivia Rogers, Kaleigh Jenkins and Farrington finished the race in 45.95 for four points. In the final event of the meet, MoState finished fourth in the 4x400-meter relay.
Seleena Morris,
Victory Ifah, Farrington and Halstead ran a season best 3:44.48 to secure five points as the conference meet came to a close.
Â
"The team fought so hard all the way to the end," head coach
Jordan Fife said. "I couldn't be prouder of the effort. We had a couple things not go our way this weekend that kept us from being in the fifth to eighth range that we knew was possible, but that's the nature of championship meets. We still had quite a few highlights with Whitney's 400-meter, the duo of Magdalena and Meghan in the 400-meter hurdles and the finish of the 4x400-meter team."
Â
Host Indiana State won the MVC women's title with 158 points. Murray State finished in second place with 136.5 points and Illinois State finished in third with 132.5 points.
