February 05, 2018

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Single-game tickets and eight-game mini-plans for Missouri State's 24-game 2018 home baseball schedule are available beginning today (Feb. 5) through the MSU Athletics Box Office.

Bears' single-game tickets for the 2018 season remain priced at $5 for the general public, $2.50 for Missouri State faculty and staff, $2 for students and special rates are offered for groups of 20 or more. All children ages 12 and under not accompanied by a season-ticket holder will require a $2 ticket for admission. Students must show a valid and current BearPass Card along with a student ticket to gain entry to Hammons Field.

In conjunction with Missouri State University's Family Weekend, MSU baseball will host its annual Spring Family Day on Saturday, April 21, when the Bears take on Illinois State in a 2 p.m. game at Hammons Field.

MSU parents can reserve their ticket packages, which include one reserved seat and a limited edition Spring Family Day t-shirt at a cost of $14 for adults and $12 for students and children (ages 2-12). To reserve your seat and your commemorative tee, complete and return the ticket order form linked above. Additional information on Spring Family Day is available through Priscilla Childress in the office Parent and Family Programs at pchildress@missouristate.edu or (417) 836-3060.

Season tickets for the 2018 season are on sale now through the Missouri State Athletics box office and include packages for lower-level reserved chairback seats for $100 (general public), $50 for Missouri State faculty and staff and $20 for students. Eight-game mini-packages will also be offered for $32 per ticket. Additionally, MSU is offering free season-long admission for up to two children (ages 12 and under) with the purchase of two 2018 season tickets. The Bears will also offer a '6-Pack Special' for the first time this spring. Purchase six or more season tickets and receive a 25-percent discount, making the ticket price just $75 per season ticket.

All Bears baseball season-ticket holders – including new orders and renewals placed by the end of the day Monday (Feb. 5) – will be entitled to the same number of complementary tickets to First Pitch and Reunion Night, which will be held Feb. 10 at the Bill Rowe Training Center and feature former big league pitcher and current St. Louis Cardinals commentator Al Hrabosky.

MSU opens the 2018 campaign Feb. 16, when it meets Texas Southern at the Cardinal Classic in Beaumont, Texas.
