NEWARK, Del. – Missouri State bashed a season-high 16 hits and scored in seven of nine innings Saturday afternoon for a 15-10 win at Delaware.

Mo State moved to 23-10 overall and 11-3 in Conference USA while claiming its seventh series in nine weekends. The Blue Hens dropped to 10-25 and 1-13 in league play.

Logan Fyffe reached base six times and scored five runs after being hit by two pitches, walking once and matching a career high with three hits, while
Gabe Roessler and
Bobby Atkinson also notched three hits.

The Bears were hit by six pitches – their most since 2011 – and drew six walks in addition to the 16 base knocks.

The game featured several early lead changes, with an Atkinson two-run double putting the Bears up 5-3 in the third, and
Brant Kragel's two-run single in the fifth giving Mo State the lead for good at 7-6.

In the seventh, Roessler singled, stole second and scored on a Fyffe single, then Fyffe stole second and scored on
Taeg Gollert's single to make it 10-7.

Kragel and
Carter Bergman added RBI singles in the seventh for 12-7, Gollert hit his ninth homer of the season and 35
th of his career for a 14-7 lead in the eighth, and Roessler hit another RBI single in the ninth.
