Bears Baseball Season Ticket Packages Now on Sale

December 15, 2017

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Season tickets for Missouri State's 24-game 2018 home baseball schedule are now available through the MSU Athletics Box Office. As part of all Bears' season-ticket packages, individuals who place their orders prior to Feb. 5 will receive complementary tickets to MSU's annual First Pitch Night, which will be held Feb. 10 at the Bill Rowe Training Facility at Hammons Field.

MSU is coming off the winningest three-year period in program history after claiming 130 victories since the start of the 2015 season. The Bears, who finished with a 43-20 overall record after capturing their second NCAA Regional title in three seasons last spring, will welcome back 18 letterwinners, including returning All-Americans Jeremy Eierman and Jake Fromson.

Highlighting the home portion of the schedule will be a three-game non-conference series (April 13-14) against an Oregon State squad that returns the bulk of its roster from last year's club that earned the top overall national seed in the 2017 NCAA Baseball Championship and advanced to the College World Series with a 56-6 overall record. The Bears will also welcome Arkansas State (March 9-11) and Cal State Northridge (March 23-25) to Hammons Field for three-game non-conference series, in addition to hosting meetings with 2017 postseason qualifying clubs from Oklahoma State (March 7) and Oral Roberts (March 13).

MSU's home slate will also feature midweek match-ups with regional foes Southeast Missouri State (March 20) and Murray State (March 21), as well as return visits from Missouri (April 10) and Kansas (May 2) as part of home-and-home series with the Tigers and Jayhawks. The Bears will host three Missouri Valley Conference weekend series, beginning with a three-game set against Evansville (April 6-8), followed by series with Illinois State (April 20-22) and Southern Illinois (May 11-13).

Additionally, the Bears will square off against Mizzou in a neutral-site contest in St. Louis, with the two in-state rivals meeting at Busch Stadium for an April 3 game. General admission tickets to the 6:30 p.m. non-conference game are priced at $5 and available only through the Busch Stadium box office at (314) 345-9000, or online at cardinals.com/collegebaseball.

Renewal information for current season-ticket holders will be mailed this week and include packages for lower-level reserved chairback seats for $100 (general public), $50 for Missouri State faculty and staff and $20 for students. Eight-game mini-packages will also be offered for $32 per ticket. Additionally, MSU is offering free season-long admission for up to two children (ages 12 and under) with the purchase of two 2018 season tickets. The Bears will also offer a '6-Pack Special' for the first time this spring. Purchase six or more season tickets and receive a 25-percent discount, making the ticket price just $75 per season ticket.

Seating at Hammons Field will be slightly restructured this season, with the first 10 rows of the lower grandstand designated as reserved seating and rows 11-24 sold as general admission for all Missouri State home games.

Bears' single-game tickets for the 2018 season, which will also go on-sale in February, remain priced at $5 for the general public, $2.50 for Missouri State faculty and staff, $2 for students and special rates are offered for groups of 20 or more. All children ages 12 and under not accompanied by a season-ticket holder will require a $2 ticket for admission. Students must show a valid and current BearPass Card along with a student ticket to gain entry to Hammons Field.

All Bears baseball season-ticket holders – including new orders and renewals placed by Feb. 5 – will be entitled to the same number of complementary tickets to MSU's 10th-annual First Pitch fundraiser, additional details for which will be announced in the near future.
