Bears Announce Winter Camp Slate

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Missouri State University head coach Keith Guttin announced the Bears' 2018 Winter Baseball Camp schedule Wednesday (Nov. 8), and the MSU coaching staff is now accepting applications for four different two-day clinics,  which will be held at the Bill Rowe Training Facility at Hammons Field.

Guttin and assistant coach Matt Lawson will serve as lead instructors for the Hitting Camps. The Pitching/Catching Camps focus on the fundamentals of pitching and catching, led by Bears' pitching coach Paul Evans, as well as several area high school coaches and current and former Missouri State professional players.

Pitching/Catching Camps
Session 1: Sat., Jan. 13 and Sun., Jan. 14
Time: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (both days)
Ages: Grades 7-12
Fee: $150

Session 2: Sat., Jan. 20 and Sun., Jan. 21
Time: 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (both days)
Ages: Grades 7-12
Fee: $150

Hitting Camps
Session 1: Sat., Jan. 13 and Sun., Jan. 14 
Time: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (both days)
Ages: Grades 8-12
Fee: $150

Session 2: Sat., Jan. 20 and Sun., Jan. 21
Time: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (both days)
Ages: Grades 8-12
Fee: $150
