2018-19: Started all 35 Missouri State games, tying a school record...Honorable mention all-MVC pick after averaging 10.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals...Posted a 1.47 assist-to-turnover ratio, raising her career average to 1.37 to rank fifth in school history at the end of her first two seasons...Voted the Lady Bears’ top defensive player by her teammates...Scored in double figures 17 times with a high of 20 against No. 21 Gonzaga (Dec. 16)...Scored at least 11 points in seven consecutive games from Jan. 18-Feb. 8...Grabbed five-plus rebounds in 18 games...Led the team and ranked fourth in the MVC in free throw makes and attempts, shooting 75 percent from the line...Third on the Lady Bears with 47 offensive rebounds...Converted 15 of 19 and-one opportunities, both the most on the team...Dished out seven assists without a turnover against Valparaiso (Jan. 27), the first time that had been done by a Lady Bear since Casey Garrison in January 2010...Had three total games with five assists and one or fewer turnovers, including against Iowa State (March 25) in the NCAA Tournament second round...Collected a season-high five steals against Illinois State (Feb. 13), and had multiple thefts in 12 games.
2017-18: Appeared in all 33 games with 30 starts, ranking second on the team in minutes played and averaging 7.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.1 steals per contest...Boasted a 1.47 assist-to-turnover ratio (the fourth-best ever for an MSU freshman with at least 75 assists), including a 2.26 mark in MVC games...Had four separate games with five assists and one or zero turnovers; vs. Northwestern (Dec. 16), at Evansville (Dec. 31), vs. Bradley (Feb. 9) and at Valparaiso (Feb. 18)...Earned MVC Newcomer of the Week honors on Jan. 15 after averaging 13 points and four rebounds in wins at Bradley and Illinois State...Scored 10-plus points nine times, with highs of 16 at Bradley (Jan. 14) and Louisiana Tech (March 15)...Collected five or more rebounds 14 times, with highs of nine against Valpo (Jan. 19) and at Southern Illinois (Jan. 26).
2016-17: Appeared in seven non-conference games before injury cut her season short...Awarded a medical hardship waiver to restore the season of eligibility...Scored 14 points on 6-of-11 shooting with four rebounds and three assists in the win at Kansas (Nov. 13)...Also had three assists at Northwestern (Nov. 16)...Played at least 20 minutes in each of the season’s first four games...Scored at least three points in each contest, finishing the year with averages of 5.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists on 39 percent shooting from the floor.
Background: Scored 1,368 points and added 765 rebounds during a standout career at Sapulpa High southwest of Tulsa, earning first-team all-conference and first-team academic all-conference honors each of her final three seasons...Averaged 16.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 4.1 steals and 1.6 blocks as a senior while leading the Chieftains to a 22-5 record....Earned all-state honors from both the media and coaches, and was a finalist for Oklahoma Player of the Year that season...Helped Sapulpa to a Class 6A quarterfinal appearance as a junior, and was selected by Vype Magazine as its Tulsa Area Player of the Year after averages of 15.1 points, 8.2 boards, 4.2 assists and 3.7 steals...Averaged 12 points and 7.3 rebounds as a sophomore, and 9.0 points and 4.9 boards as a freshman, tallying at least 3.0 assists and 3.3 steals per game each season as well.
Personal: Brice Calip is the daughter of Brad and Darlean Calip...Born March 14, 1998, in Claremore, Okla...Has one brother, Braden, who played football at Central Oklahoma from 2013-17...Mother was her high school coach at Sapulpa and was a 1,000-point scorer in college at East Central University in Ada, Okla....Father played quarterback at East Central and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2003...Working towards her Master’s degree in sports management.
