2021-22: MVC All-Newcomer Team…Started 16 games while appearing in 32 of MSU’s 33 total games…Averaged 8.9 points and 2.9 rebounds per game and ranked second on the team with 56 steals…Logged 13 double-digit scoring performances…Scored the most points in an MSU debut since Gail Beck (24 points) on November 18, 1980 with 24 at Little Rock (Nov. 9)…Earned MVC Newcomer of the Week on February 21 for her performances at Illinois State (Feb. 18) and Bradley (Feb. 20)…Against Illinois State, White dropped 21 points on 7-for-12 shooting, with 10 of her points coming in the third quarter, as MSU defeated the Redbirds who were then at the top of the conference standings…Recorded 11 points and five steals in MSU’s First Four victory against Florida State in the NCAA Tournament (March 17)… Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for Fall 2021 and Spring 2022.


Background: Two-time Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year at Cleveland State who joined MSU as a graduate transfer...Averaged 19.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 2.7 steals per game to earn first-team all-conference honors as a senior...Led the Vikings to the 2021 Women’s Basketball Invitational championship, the first postseason title in program history...Named the 2021 Arthur Ashe Jr. Female Sports Scholar of the Year, selected from nearly 1,000 men’s and women’s nominees for best exemplifying the standards of scholarship, athleticism and humanitarianism...Ranked 10th nationally with 96 steals as a junior and was a three-time Horizon League all-Defensive Team pick...Scored 1,320 career points at Cleveland State and ranks sixth on CSU’s career lists for steals (230) and free throws (312)...In 106 games for the Vikings, the Toledo, Ohio, native scored in double figures 64 times with 20 games of 20 more points and a pair of 30-point outings.
