Conference USA Releases Women’s Basketball Schedule

DALLAS – Conference USA announced the 2026-27 women's basketball conference schedule on Thursday (July 9). With the league now sitting at 10 teams, this year's slate features 18 games with the Lady Bears set to face all CUSA teams twice throughout the season.
Missouri State will begin conference action after the new year with home games against Sam Houston (Jan. 2) and New Mexico State (Jan. 4). The Lady Bears will host three more games later in January with visits from FIU (Jan.16), Western Kentucky (Jan. 21) and Middle Tennessee (Jan. 23). January features four road games for Mo State at Delaware (Jan. 8), Liberty (Jan. 10), Kennesaw State (Jan. 28) and Jacksonville State (Jan. 30).
Mo State will bookend the month of February with games at Great Southern Bank Arena, welcoming Liberty (Feb. 4), Delaware (Feb. 6), Kennesaw State (Feb. 25) and Jacksonville State (Feb. 27) to Springfield. A three-game road swing in the middle of the month includes matchups at FIU (Feb. 13), Middle Tennessee (Feb. 18) and Western Kentucky (Feb. 20).
The Lady Bears will close out the regular season on the road with contests at New Mexico State (March 4) and Sam Houston (March 6).
The 2027 Conference USA Basketball Championships will be held at Propst Arena in Huntsville, Ala. from March 9-13.
All game times and television designations will be released at a later date.
Head coach Beth Cunningham and the Lady Bears are coming off a 23-13 season that saw Missouri State win its first-ever Conference USA Tournament championship and advance to the program's 18th NCAA Tournament. It marked the 11th straight postseason appearance and ninth-straight 20-win season for Mo State. The Lady Bears return seven players from a season ago and welcome a group of seven newcomers that features four freshmen and three transfers.
