Fields played in 28 games and started 19 times behind the plate ... hit .220 with a double and three runs batted in ... drew a walk against Eastern Michigan (Feb. 14) ... her first career hit was a walk-off RBI single in extra innings against Iowa (Feb. 21) ... had a single against Samford (March 7) in the opening game of the tournament in Norman, Okla. ... picked up her first base hit against a conference foe at Bradley (March 21) ... had a successful sacrifice in game two at Indiana State (March 28) ... drove in a run with a double and was hit by a pitch in win over SEMO (March 31) ... singled and put down a successful sacrifice in series-opening win against Evansville (April 4) ... went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored at Illinois State (April 18) ... had a 2-for-2 outing in second game at Southern Illinois (May 2).

Fields was a starter and letterwinner for four seasons at Mater Dei Catholic High ... was an all-state and all-metro selection as a senior, leading the Lady Knights to a 22-6 record ... hit .530 with five home runs and 42 RBI to earn team MVP honors ... was a second-team all-state selection as a junior and steadily improved her batting average from .424 as a freshman to .554 as a junior ... earned Offensive Player of the Year each of the final three seasons and was an all-metro selection all four seasons at Mater Dei ... was named team MVP as a sophomore and was named St. Louis Post-Dispatch Athlete of the Week on May 1, 2012 ... during her career, she drove in 134 runs in just 110 games ... played for the St. Louis Gamers Fastpitch competitive team from 2011 to 2013 ... with the Gamers, she led the team to a first-place finish at the Hall of Fame Tournament in Oklahoma City in 2012 and they were co-champs of the Scenic Classic in Chattanooga, Tenn., in 2013.
