Powelson was a four-year starter and letterwinner at North Andrew High ... her senior season, she was a first-team all-state, all-region, all-district and all-conference catcher while hitting a team-best .569 with 14 doubles ... led the Cardinals to a Platte Valley Conference title for the third-consecutive season ... finished her career at NAHS with a school record 126 hits, 117 runs scored, 85 RBI and 41 stolen bases ... her junior season, Powelson earned all-region, all-district and all-conference first team accolades while setting the school record with 38 runs scored ... was a second-team all-region pick and earned first team honors on the all-district and all-conference squads while driving in a school record 30 runs as a sophomore ... hit .492 as a freshman to earn all-district and all-conference first team honors ... also competed on the NAHS track team each of her final three years.
