2010
• Played in 40 games with 14 starts at DH, 12 at first base and three behind the plate
• Hit .263 in 99 at bats, driving in 23 runs with three homers and 11 runs scored
• Swatted MSU's only pinch-hit home run of the year against Oral Roberts (4/4)
• Hit .333 with runners on base and .375 with runners in scoring position
• Homered twice in a doubleheader sweep of Creighton (4/25)
• Had six multi-hit and seven multi-RBI games
• Season high of three RBIs came against Bradley (4/11), Creighton (4/25) and Wichita State (5/16)
• Had three hits against WSU (5/16) and at Bradley (4/9)
• Batted .276 with a .431 slugging percentage in MVC games

• Played the 2008 and 2009 seasons at Black Hawk College in Moline, Ill.
• Hit .376 with 39 RBIs in 39 games as a sophomore and posted a .290 average with 26 runs driven in as a freshman
• Team captain and all-conference choice his sophomore season, helping his team to conference and sectional titles
• At Stark County High in Toulon, Ill., Paxson had a stellar career, finishing his four seasons ranked 18th in Illinois prep history with 145 RBIs, 33rd with 40 doubles and 39th with 163 hits
• All-state catcher and conference player of the year as a senior, batting .520 with 38 RBIs and 29 runs scored as his team won a regional championship
• Hit .467 with 51 RBIs as a junior and .402 with 39 RBIs during his sophomore season
• Played with several current Bears over the summer of 2009 for the Sedalia Bombers, hitting .293 with 11 RBIs
