Background
• Played his first two collegiate seasons at Crowder College in Neosho, Mo.
• Helped the Roughriders to a fifth-place finish in the JUCO World Series in 2010
• Served as Crowder[apos]s closer in 2010, logging 13 saves, a 4-3 record, a 3.16 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 37 innings
• Went 1-0 with a 3.60 ERA and 23 strikeouts in 20 innings as a freshman at Crowder
• All-district, all-conference and all-Ozarks outfielder as a senior at Glendale High in Springfield
• Chosen by Colorado in the 37th round of the 2010 draft
