2008: Barnes pitched 35 innings over 17 games for the Bears in 2008, making one start at 23rd-ranked Oklahoma State (3/11) ... Finished the year with a 9.00 ERA but struck out 26 batters compared to only nine walks ... Allowed only one runner in 3.1 scoreless innings versus Northern Colorado (3/14) ... Pitched 4.1 scoreless innings in relief at Saint Louis (4/23), surrendering three hits and fanning two to pick up the victory in relief.
