Biography

Alma Mater: Missouri State Brant Combs transitions from the Bears[apos] bullpen to MSU[apos]s Director of Baseball Operations this season as he pursues an MBA with an emphasis in sports management, scheduled for completion in May 2011. As operations director, Combs serves as the team[apos]s academic liaison and assists with camps among other day-to-day duties. As a player, Combs made 35 relief appearances in two seasons at Missouri State, leading the team with 22 outings as a senior and going 1-2 with a 4.97 ERA and one save. He pitched the first two seasons of his college career at Missouri, where he was a two-time academic all-Big 12 selection.
