MSU Athletic Director's Honor Roll: Spring 2024

2023-24 Track and Field
Indoor: Did not compete.

Outdoor: Competed in six meets for the Bears ... Placed third at the MVC Outdoor Championship (5/10-5/12/24) with an attempt of 42.40 meters in javelin ... Threw a season-high 43.22 meters at the Springfield Showdown (3/22/24) to finish win the event.

2022-23 Track and Field
Indoor: Did not appear during the indoor season. 

Outdoor: Led the Bears’ javelin throwers during the outdoor season... Competed in six meets and earned three top-three finishes including one top finish at the Missouri State Invitational... Eclipsed her former lifetime best of 43.80 meters by throwing to a mark of 44.53 meters at the Rock Chalk Classic on April 29... Finished fourth at the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships with a throw of 44.30 meters. 

2021-22 Track and Field 
Indoor: Did not compete for the Bears. 

Outdoor: Part of the Bears’ strong team of javelin throwers... Competed in every meet for MSU... Threw to a season-best distance of 42.09 meters at the outdoor championships on May 13-15... Finished third in the first meet of the season (37.75m) … Finished in the top-10 at the championships in 10th place. 

2020-21 Track and Field
Indoor: Did not compete for the Bears.

Outdoor: Competed in five meets… Finished 13th in the javelin at the MVC Outdoor Championship (May 14-16)… Recorded a season-high throw of 43.80 meters and finished seventh in the javelin at the Drake Relays (Apr. 22-24)… Placed third in the javelin at the Gorilla Classic (Apr. 10)… Made her collegiate debut at the Joey Haines Invitational (Apr. 2-3) where she came in sixth in the javelin.

2019-20 (Southwest Baptist)
Competed in one meet for the Bearcats in the 2020 indoor season… Recorded an 8.82m throw in the shot put at the UCM Invite.

Background
Was a member of the track and field team at Parkview High School for all four years… Finished seventh in the javelin at the 2019 MSHSAA State Track and Field Championship… Earned league-champion status after winning the javelin throw at the Ozark Conference Championship in 2019… Also, competed in long jump and triple jump events for the Vikings.

Cheyenne White was born on May 3, 2001 in Springfield, Mo… Daughter of Pat White… Has one sister, Rosie… Majoring in Interior Design.
