Biography

At MSU: Michael Gow will enter the competition at defender this season after sitting out the 2005 season as a redshirt in his first season with the Bears. Background: Michael Gow played all over the field as a senior, under his father Mike Gow, and helped lead the Lebanon High Yellow Jackets to a 13-11-3 record. The 6-1 offensive stalwart set a school record for most goals in a single game with five, and posted three hat tricks in the 2004 season. He was named to the first team all-district, all-region and all-conference teams as a junior and senior and was a Missouri all-state honorable-mention pick as a senior. He played club soccer for the Springfield Soccer Club and was coached by Jeremy Alumbaugh. Personal: Michael Gow Jr. is the son of Mike and Pam Gow. He was born May 29, 1987.
