Biography

At MSU: Mark Graf enters his senior season as one of four returning 11-game starters on the offensive line from last fall. In 2007, Graf gained valuable experience and helped produce the chemistry in the Bears' line group that should prove to be invaluable as the seasoned offensive line returns for another campaign in 2008. In 2006, Mark served as a backup for the Bears, seeing significant playing time and earning his second letter. He played in seven games for the Bears in 2005 and redshirted in 2004.

Background: Graf was a stalwart on Hazelwood East's dominant offensive line that cleared the way for 215 rushing yards and 32 points per game while posting an 11-1 mark his senior season. He was voted first team all-state by both the coaches and media; also earned first team all-metro and all-conference honors. With Graf as the starting left tackle and defensive tackle his last two seasons, coach Corey Johnson's squad went 20-2 while winning a pair of conference titles. Graf was ranked among the Super 30 recruits by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Personal: Mark Alexander Graf was born 1/22/86 in St. Louis, Mo., the son of Jim and Joan Graf. His academic major at Missouri State is hospitality and restaurant administration.
