Keeping Track of the Bears

The Missouri State track and field team will head to an unfamiliar region for the SMU Invitational in Dallas on Saturday, May 3.
This will be SMU's first home meet since 1998. Missouri State will start the day with the 5000-meter run at 8:50 a.m. and the javelin at 9:00 a.m.
The Bears are sitting 22^nd in the Midwest and fourth in the Missouri Valley.
MoState is coming off a weekend that saw four first place along with 18 personal records.
Multiple Bears sit in the top five in the Valley rankings. Olivia Rogers is ranked third in the 100-meter dash and second in the 200-meter dash with times of 11.58 and 23.89. Alex Adams is fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:09.26. Meghan Halstead leads the MVC in the 400--meter hurdles with a time of 59.49. Kamdyn Moody is third in the heptathlon with a score of 4,792 points.
The 4x100-meter relay team of Kayleigh Jenkins, Rogers, BreAna Garrett and Rakiya Lang is fifth with a time of 45.79 and the 4x400-meter relay team of Whitney Farrington, Halstead, Adams and Garrett is third with a time of 3:43.88.
Freshman Maliya Clark sits in fourth place in triple jump with an attempt of 12.08 meters and Reagan Reedy is second in javelin with an attempt of 45.65 meters.
