MoState Track & Field Stacks Podiums in Season Debut

PITTSBURG, Kan. – Missouri State Women's Track & Field officially opened the 2025-26 indoor season with a highly competitive two-day performance at the Crimson & Gold Invitational, securing three event wins and showcasing exceptional depth with strong marks across the roster.

Junior Olivia Rogers delivered the Bears' first win of the year with a standout performance in the 60-meter dash, claiming the title in 7.47. Missouri State dominated the event, placing six athletes inside the top seven: Kayleigh Jenkins and Brianna Howard tied for second (7.56), followed by Sydney Ward in fourth (7.60), Claire Farrell in sixth (7.65) and Delaney Weimer in seventh (7.65).

The Bears continued their strong sprint presence in the 200 meters, placing four runners in the top seven. Jordyn Buckley led the group with a third-place finish in 25.03, followed by Weimer (4th, 25.11), Rakiya Lang (5th, 25.34) and Alyssa Ball (6th, 25.35). Ward added a seventh-place result in 25.36.

Rogers added her second podium finish of the meet in the 300-meter dash, placing second in 39.06. Whitney Farrington also secured a top-10 showing, finishing eighth in 39.87.

Missouri State claimed its second event victory in the 400-meter dash, where Farrell crossed first in 55.95. BreAna Garrett followed closely in second with a 56.07 effort, and Raegan Foster added another top-10 finish, placing ninth at 57.90.

The Bears' distance group produced its own event champion as Ella Cronhardt won the 3,000-meter run in 10:06.57. Elsa Henry contributed a sixth-place finish (10:21.10), while Lena Singleton added a 10th-place finish (10:43.96). Missouri State also notched three consecutive top-10 finishes in the 5,000 meters, with Madilyn Moore (8th, 17:45.80), Tabitha Fox (9th, 17:49.48) and Ella Rew (10th, 17:53.99).

Abby Meyer earned ninth in the 800 meters, clocking 2:17.48, and Faith Fotiades secured another top-10 finish with an eighth-place effort in the mile at 5:11.54.

Missouri State produced two top-10 relay results in the 4x400-meter relay:
• 6th – Garrett, Farrington, Rogers, Farrell (3:49.86)
• 8th – Foster, Jenkins, Buckley, Jackson (3:52.69)

In the field events, freshman Shiloh Cross highlighted the group with a runner-up finish in the triple jump, posting 11.78 meters. She added an eigth-place finish in the long jump (5.54m). Jenkins earned seventh in the high jump, clearing 1.64 meters. Sadie McCulloh delivered a strong showing in the long jump, placing 11th overall.

Missouri State now turns its focus to a month-long training block before returning to competition on Jan. 16 at the Show-Me Showdown hosted by Missouri.
