Keeping Track of the Bears

The Missouri State track and field team is heading back to Columbia for the Bob Teel Invitational on Saturday. Field events will kick off at 10:00 a.m. with the high jump while track events are slated to begin at 12:35 p.m. with the 1,000-meter run.
The meet will feature 12 teams from across Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee and Kentucky. Fellow Missouri Valley Conference competitor Murray State will compete in the invitational.
The Bears faced Lindenwood, Kansas City and Missouri last weekend at the Show-Me Showdown.
Forty-three Bears will compete across 13 events in the one-day meet.
Last time out, the Bears claimed the title of fastest 4x400-meter relay in the state of Missouri. Whitney Farrington, BreAna Garrett, Meghan Halstead and Seleena Morris won the race with a time of 3:49.08.
The Bears left Columbia, Mo. with 15 top-five finishes and 12 personal records.
