AUSTIN, Texas -- The final round of the NCAA Women's Golf Regional saw improvements from the Missouri State women's golf team as the Bears shot 308 for their lowest round of the competition. Finishing in 17th, above East Carolina, the Bears were led by
Verena Gimmy carding 76-78-80--234.
Stine Pettersen shot 79-79-77--235 with
Rachel Johnson two strokes behind her with 81-84-72--237.
Ashley Childers posted 83-78-83--244 while
Bridget Schulte had 92-88-79--259.
Arkansas held on to the lead through the final two rounds for a 26-under par total of 838. Texas (849), Auburn (869), Florida (869), Baylor (869), and Oklahoma (870) will join the Razorbacks at the NCCA Women's Golf Championships in Stillwater, Okla. along with individuals form Texas A&M, Houson, and BYU.
