Bears finish strong at ORU/SFA Spring Break Invite

Bears Wrap Up Spring Break in Dallas

The Missouri State women's golf team finished strong on day three to finish tied for seventh out of 16. For a three day total of 315-313-305—933, the Bears tied with Alabama State and the University of Louisiana Monroe. Eastern Kentucky finished first with a three day total of 895 after leading the previous two rounds.

Caroline Boone tied for 16th with scores of 76-80-74—230, to place highest amongst the Bears squad. Also firing a 74 in round three, junior Verena Gimmy finished in a five-way tie for 38th with a 236 on the week. One point behind Boone with 231, Ashley Childers tied for 21st with round scores of 75-78-78. Lindsey Eisenreich finished in a tie for 49th after shooting 82-76-81—239. As an individual, Stine Pettersen also tied for 49th with scores of 79-81-79—239.

The golf Bears are back on the course at the Little Rock/ ASU Invitational in Maumelle, Ark. Mon., March 27 through Tues. March 28.
