Final Day at Loyola Intercollegiate
The Missouri State men's golf team finished sixth in the 16-team field at the Loyola Intercollegiate on Monday (Feb. 27). After shooting a weekend low of 289, the Bears finished with a total of 855 after three rounds on the Palm Valley Golf Club 7015-yd course.

The tournament was led by Eastern Michigan (275-277-289—841) going into round three but high scores allowed Connecticut to take the lead and win by six with 834. Elon followed in third with 847 and Arkansas State and Northern Illinois tied for fourth with 849.

Sophomore
Jack Knoesel led the team in round three with 70, his lowest score of the weekend. Knoesel's first two rounds of 71 put him at a three-day total of 212 and a tie for 16
th place in the 96-man field.
Adam Fisher finished best in the individual rankings after firing 71-66-73—210 which was good enough to tie for eighth. Teammates
John Fuchs (T33) Â and
Kory Franks (T37) also kept scores low with 216 and 217, respectively.

The golf Bears are back in action on March 14-16 at the Bob Sitton Invitational in Dallas, Texas.
