SPRINGFIELD – The Missouri State women's soccer team will honor seven seniors in the team's final regular-season match against the Illinois State Redbirds on Thursday, Oct. 24 at Betty & Bobby Allison South Stadium.

Missouri State Quick Kicks
- Freshman goalkeeper Lexi Palacio had a career night Tuesday against the Bulldogs, bringing in a season-high 11 saves. Thanks to her performance, her 11 saves ties for second in the Valley and is the most saves recorded by any MSU goalkeeper this season.
- Recording the game-winning goal against Evansville on Saturday, junior forward Brooke Prondzinski picked up her 10th career goal. She now has four goals on the season and totals nine points.
- The Bears will honor seven seniors – Rachel Catrell, Mary Disidore, Courtney Kolb, Makenzie Pfeiffer, Sarah Sabo, Suzy Smith and Brooke Zimmerman – this Thursday against the Illinois State Redbirds. The senior class has combined for 10 of the Bears' 20 goals.
- Brooke Prondzinski and Mary Disidore lead the Missouri State offense. Each have two goals while Disidore leads the team with 10 points.
- The Missouri State goalkeepers, assisted by a few defensive saves, have put together 82 saves this season. Freshman keeper Kaitlin Maxwell leads the way with 41 saves while Lexi Palacio has tallied 39 on the season. Between the two keepers, the Bears have posted five shutouts.
- After not making the MVC Championship last season, the Bears sit third in the MVC women's soccer standings.

A Look at the Competition
- The Redbirds enter Thursday's contest with a 9-7-2 overall record and 3-3 mark in MVC play. Illinois State has played two ranked teams this season, falling to 3-0 to No. 23 Northwestern and tying No. 19 Marquette, 0-0.
- Kelli Zickert, Emily Dickman, Sarah Lafayette and Mikayla Unger have all recorded four goals this season. As a team, the Redbirds have put 23 balls in the net while limiting their opponents to 19.
- Defensively, goalkeeper Haley Smith sits second in the Valley with 73 saves on the season. She has put in 1530 minutes in goal and posts an impressive eight shutouts.

With a history that dates back to 1996, Illinois State holds a 16-7-9 all-time series lead over Missouri State. Last season. The teams tied 1-1 at Illinois State.
