2016:Â Sabo continued to improve during training and played a vital role in improving the team during practices.
2015: Sabo provided valuable reps during training and helped to better the team during practices.
2014: Sabo redshirted the 2014 season.
Background: Sabo started and lettered all four years at Lutheran High School South for head coaches Racheal Brcic and Jerry Amsler. She was named to the all-state second team as a senior and earned her third-consecutive all-district first-team selection. As a team captain and MVP, she earned first-team all-region honors and was named to her third Metro League first team. Sabo led the Lancers to a second-place finish in district play, the third-straight season to reach the district finals. As a junior, she was a first-team all-region selection and earned team MVP honors. Her sophomore season, she earned team defensive player of the year while leading LHSS to a district title. Sabo also played ice hockey for the Lancers for three seasons.
Personal: Sabo is the daughter of Richard and Teri Sabo and was born October 9, 1995. She is majoring in public relations at MSU. She also plays for the Missouri State ice hockey club team.
