DALLAS – Missouri State women's soccer junior
Elena Bartak has been named the recipient of Conference USA's Fall Spirit of Service Award, recognizing her outstanding commitment to community service, academic excellence and participation in her sport.
The Spirit of Service Award honors student-athletes who demonstrate significant community engagement, maintain good academic standing and actively participate in their sport.

Bartak has been actively involved in a wide range of service initiatives, including volunteering with Vacation Bible School, youth soccer camps and clinics, Meals from the Heartland and Convoy of Hope. Through these efforts, she has dedicated her time to mentoring young athletes, supporting food insecurity initiatives and serving communities in need both locally and beyond.

In addition to her service work, Bartak excels academically. The Grimes, Iowa, native owns a perfect 4.00 cumulative GPA while majoring in exercise science with a minor in chemistry. She earned Dean's List recognition during the academic year and was named a Maroon & White Scholar-Athlete, in addition to being selected to the Missouri State Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
On the field, Bartak appeared in all 20 matches during the 2025 season, making 11 starts and recording an assist. She provided consistent depth and leadership along the back line as the Bears navigated their Conference USA schedule.
