On the Pitch
- Missouri State continues Conference USA play Sunday with a noon CT matchup against Western Kentucky at the WKU Soccer Complex in Bowling Green, Ky. The meeting will be the Bears' second conference road match of the season.
- The Bears enter Sunday 3-6-2 overall and 0-1-1 in CUSA play after earning their first conference point with a 1-1 draw against Jacksonville State on Thursday.
- Missouri State struck first against Jacksonville State when Lillie Rasmussen finished a Jane Hansen assist in the 56th minute. The Gamecocks answered in the 68th minute for the equalizer.
- The Bears flipped the match after halftime, outshooting Jacksonville State 8-2 in the second half after being held to one shot in the opening 45 minutes. Missouri State also generated all four of its corner kicks after the break.
- Missouri State finished the Jacksonville State match with advantages of 9-7 in total shots and 6-4 in shots on goal, with five of its six shots on target coming in the second half.
