MADISON, Ill. – Missouri State sophomore Jack Knoesel finished out an impressive performance at the SIUE Derek Dolenc Intercollegiate here Tuesday, firing a final-round 72 to claim individual medalist honors and help the Bears earn the team title at the 54-hole event.

Knoesel carded a seven-under par 66-68-72 – 206 to win the event at Gateway National by five strokes over runner-up Austin Swafford of UT Martin (211). He posted 14 pars in the final round and led the event wire to wire for his first collegiate victory as a Bear.  The transfer from Tulsa also averaged just 3.0 strokes on par-3 holes Tuesday, one of the top efforts in the 87-man field.
