First-Round Results
GOODYEAR, Ariz. -- The Missouri State men's golf team opened its 2026 spring season Sunday (Feb. 15) at the Loyola Intercollegiate at Palm Valley Golf Club. The Bears posted a 296 team score in the opening round and sit in 16th place with two days still remaining in the tournament.
Sophomore
Jonathan Jordan and freshman
Pedro Gallegos paced MoState with one-over-par 73's and are tied for 53rd place individually. Junior
Owen Swearingen birdied four of his last five holes to post a 74, good enough for a tie for 63rd.
Andrew Fallis and
Noah Naugle each carded 76 and are tied for 88th place.
Host Loyola (MD) and Richmond are tied for the team lead after the first round with 280 totals, one ahead of Denver and South Dakota, and two better than North Carolina State, which sits fifth in the 20-team field.
Second-round play is scheduled for an 8:45 a.m. local start Monday.
