Results

RAYMORE, Mo. -- Missouri State sophomore Adam Fisher sits tied for second place with 18 holes remaining here at the Bill Ross Intercollegiate, hosted by UMKC.

Fisher carded rounds of 70-69--139 Monday to play within two strokes of individual leader Jake Chanen of Grand Canyon (137). Kansas State's Matt Green (69-70--139) is also among the leaders in the field of 70 individuals, tied with Fisher for second place after 36 holes.

As a team, Missouri State pushed through a rough second round to sit in eighth place with rounds of 290-302--592 on Monday. Fisher and classmate Kory Franks each posted two-under par scores of 70 in the first round to lead the Bears, with junior John Fuchs recording a one-over 73, helping MSU start the event in fourth place. But outside Fisher's second-round 69, the Bears struggled Monday afternoon and slipped four spots in the 12-team field after round two.

Franks (70-77-147) sits tied for 22nd, while Fuchs (73-76--149) is tied for 31st with the tournament concluding with 18 holes Tuesday.

Grand Canyon (573) leads Stephen F. Austin (576) by three strokes headed into the final day, with Kansas state (579), UMK (580), Wichita State (585), SIU Edwardsville (585) and South Dakota (588) rounding out the top seven spots.
