PEORIA, Ill. - The Missouri State men's soccer team (4-5-3, 1-2-1 MVC) was unable to answer tonight as Bradley (6-7, 3-0 MVC) took the match 4-0. Bradley is now tied for first in the league with Drake (3-0) and MSU falls to a tie at fifth with Loyola (1-1-1) behind SIU Edwardsville (2-1).

Bradley was able to get through the MSU defense on four different occasions tonight - twice in each half - to capture three crucial points in Valley play.

Despite the loss, the Bears fired a season-high 22 shots while the Braves only took eight. Leading the Bears tonight in shots taken was freshman Jake Buckle, who took three shot attempts, all on goal. Buckle leads the MSU this season with the number of shots taken with 25.

Nine of Buckle's teammates joined him tonight, recording shots of their own. Conor Ingram, James Thomas, and Mikey Lightbourne were able to tally a shot on goal.

The Bears will head to Evansville, Ind. next Saturday (Oct. 24) to continue conference play against the Purple Aces. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be the second match on a four-game road stretch for the Bears.
