KIAWAH ISLAND, SC - The Missouri State women's golf team were unable to finish the second round of the College of Charleston's Palmetto Intercollegiate due to darkness.
Similar to the Bears home tournament two weeks ago, Sunday's second round was cut short. Missouri State's 317 first round score is tied for sixteenth best out of the nineteen-school tournament.
Shooting sub-300 through the first eighteen holes are East Tennessee St. (294), Kansas (297), GRU Augusta (298), and hosts College of Charleston (299).
College of Charleston's Laura Fuenfstueck leads the field with her three-under 69.
Play will continue tomorrow with the conclusion of the second round starting at 8:30 a.m. ET., followed by the final 18 holes.
