36-Hole Scores
FRISCO, Texas -- The Missouri State women's golf team will enter Wednesday's (Apr. 21) final round of the Energy Transfer Conference USA Championship in eighth place. The Bears have posted 299-307--606 through the first two rounds, but are still within striking distance of a top-half finish in their first CUSA tournament.
MoState began its second round at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday in a steady rain and had completed four holes before play was suspended for three hours and resumed around 1:30 p.m. As a result, one group in the field was unable to complete its second round, so play was suspended due to darkness.
Western Kentucky maintained its lead and must still finish Wednesday morning along with Sam Houston and Florida International. Delaware and New Mexico State were tied for second when play was suspended with Sam Houston fourth, and FIU and Middle Tennessee tied for fifth. Then Jacksonville State was seventh, followed by the Bears, UTEP and Kennesaw State.
