Hogan Finishes Up Post-Season Play With 74 at NCAA Southwest Regional

Missouri State's Will Hogan finished his junior season Saturday (May 21) by shooting a three-over-par 74 in the final round of the NCAA Men's Golf Southwest Regional in Tucson, Ariz.  Hogan posted 79-70-74--223 for the tournament and tied for 61st in the 75-player field.

The Ozark, Mo. native recorded 14 pars, one birdie, two bogeys and one double bogey in his round and finished 10 over par in three trips around the 7,199-yard Omni Tucson National layout.

Hogan was one of five players who earned individual berths in the field after being named Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year and finishing the season as the top-ranked player in the league. 

San Diego State won the team title with 278-278-277--833 and led a contingent of five teams that will advance to the NCAA Championship, May 31-June 5 in Stillwater, Okla.  Matt Hansen of UC Davis won medalist honors after carding 64-72-68--204 while Louisiana-Monroe's Gustaf Kocken finished low among the individual qualifiers by shooting 69-70-71--210.
