KILLEN, Ala. -- The Missouri State men's golf team is in fourth place after 36 holes at the Turtle Point Invitational at the Turtle Point Yacht & Country Club. The Bears posted 296-286--582 on Monday (Oct. 13) and trail only host North Alabama, Southeastern Louisiana and Samford, and are tied with Evansville and North Alabama's "B" squad entering Tuesday's final round.
UNA holds a comfortable lead on the 11-team field after shooting 554 through the first two rounds.Â

Tim Holmberg leads the way for the Bears through two rounds after carding 74-69--143, one-under-par, placing him in a tie for 16th place. Senior
Christian Rischer is tied for 34th after shooting 76-70--146, while junior
Owen Swearingen and sophomore
Andrew Fallis are one back with 147 totals. Sophomore
Jonathan Jordan is in 64th place after tallying 75-79--154.
Tuesday's final round is slated for a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
