Jamilah James capped off a 13 point Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship run with a MVC Freshman of the Year honor. James took second place in the triple jump with a new career best 12.59-meter leap, scoring eight points for the Bears. James also earned fourth place in the long jump with a PR 5.97-meter jump.
