Junior shortstop Jeremy Eierman continued his torrid month of March, hitting .350 with three multi-hit performances, including a pair of home runs, nine RBIs and three steals to help MSU post a perfect 5-0 home stand this past week. Eierman homered twice and drove in the Bears’ first seven runs in Sunday’s 8-2 victory that completed a three-game sweep of CSUN, capping a weekend in which he went 5-or-12 with four runs scored and eight RBIs. The Warsaw, Mo., product either scored a run or drove one home in four of MSU’s five go-ahead rallies. He started the week with a 2-for-4 effort that extended his career-best hit streak to 11 games, and ended it with his fourth multi-homer effort as a Bear to move into MSU’s top 10 for career home runs.
