Background:
Junior transfer Ashley Harris joins the Missouri State program after competing for Missouri Baptist University for the past two years...Harris earned All-America honors twice in the triple jump, placing third in the at the NAIA Indoor Championships in 2006 with a jump of 40-0 1/4....Harris placed fifth at the 2006 NAIA Outdoor National Championship with a triple jump of 39-11 1/4....Ashley also brings with her a long jump best of 18-4 1/4...As a senior at Riverview Gardens High, Harris finished third in the triple jump and sixth in the long jump at the Class 4A Missouri State Championships....At Riverview Harris jumped 37-11 and 17-10 in the triple and long jumps, respectively....Also as a senior, she served as team captain and received all-state and all-conference recognition.
Personal: Born on November 9, 1985....Daughter of Earsene Andrews.
