Biography
At Missouri State: Kelsey Finders returns as the second-leading scorer and adds experience at forward after a solid freshman season.
2008: Finders was named to the MVC All-Freshman squad after scoring five goals. She was a first-year letterwinner after seeing action in all but one match for the Bears. Finders scored her first career and game-winning goal against UALR (8/24). Her four other goals also came in winning efforts against Nicholls State (9/19), SIU Edwardsville (9/28), Creighton (10/20) and Indiana State (10/31). She recorded 19 shots, 13 on goal, during the season.
Background: Kelsey Finders was a two-time first-team all-state selection. A four-time all-conference selection, Finders led St. Charles West to a second-place district finish each of her final three seasons. She was voted team captain and earned a spot on the all-metro team her junior and senior years. Finders was also selected to the Missouri Athletic Club All-Star team, the ODP state team and was a member of the Missouri Premier Soccer Club.
Personal: Finders is the daughter of John and Beth Finders and was born April 16, 1990. Finders is undecided on her major. Her father, John, played football at Missouri State from 1979 to 1982.
