Background: Ryan Borup comes to Missouri State after diving all four years at Ketchikan High. He is a four-time All-American selection and a four-year Regional V record holder in the one-meter diving competition. His senior and junior years, he placed first at the Alaska state meet on the one-meter board. As a sophomore and freshman, he placed second in the event. Borup set his high school's one-meter diving record for three consecutive years and was named team captain of the Ketchikan High swimming and diving squad for four years. Borup was a multi-sport athlete in high school, participating in football for four years, track for three, and baseball and basketball for one.
Personal: Full name is Ryan Elliot Borup. Born August 12, 1989, in Anchorage, Alaska. Son of Bruce and Heather Borup.
